Milwaukee's Electrical Contractor History

A Spirited History of Pioneering Innovation

Throughout our history, Terminal-Andrae Inc. has been an influential leader, progressing Milwaukee’s electrical systems into the modern age. Our corporate structure has developed over time, adapting and changing to provide Milwaukee and the surrounding areas with better electrical solutions.

Terminal-Andrae was founded by Julius Andrae in 1860. Julius Andrae was a German immigrant, he started his new life in Wisconsin by running his own iron working, blacksmith and locksmith shop. He eventually started a new business, Andrae Electric, which quickly grew. Soon our firm was well known as an electrical and automotive supplier. In 1989, Andrae Electric merged with Terminal Electric, and we adapted a new name, Terminal-Andrae.
